OnStream begins Smart Metering Trial
OnStream, in conjunction with Npower and LogicaCMG, has begun
a six month trial of smart meters within the UK. The trial
is testing a new prepayment service that uses SMS technology
to communicate with the meter and enables customers to top
up their credit over the internet.
OnStream's experience in installing and managing meters makes
us an excellent partner for npower and the trial provides
OnStream with an opportunity to test new Smart technology
that will play a crucial role in the future of metering.

Contact Centre still operational despite floods
OnStream’s contact centre based in Gloucester was seriously
impacted by the widespread floods that hit large parts of
south west England. Although the contact centre didn’t flood,
it did lose power and water supplies and employees themselves
were affected at home. However, thanks to its incident management
procedures and the hard work and efforts of employees, the
contact centre continued to operate and the floods did not
impact the high levels of service that we provide.

New Business Operations Director
Sharon Rodriguez has taken up the role of Business Operations
Director for OnStream. Sharon is taking over from Martin Cook
who is leaving to take up a role in National Grid US. Sharon
has considerable experience in the commercial arena and is
looking forward to continuing the development of OnStream
into the leading provider of utility metering services.

OnStream launches revamped website
OnStream is proud to announce the launch of our exciting and
refreshed website. The redevelopment includes a new design,
re-organisation and new content. It is packed full of valuable
information on our company and the services we offer and we
hope that it will provide all interested parties with a better
understanding and awareness of OnStream.
